The nation's premier HVAC conference will be held January 24-28 at Chicago's Palmer House Hilton. The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers' (ASHRAE) 2015 Winter Conference will also be featured in conjunction with the AHR Expo, providing the best experience for those in the HVAC industry.
More than 60,000 people will be in attendance along with 400 speakers and hundreds of educational and promotional sessions, according to ASHRAE. The latest technological advancements and sustainable energy solutions will be on display with ample time for companies to network and attend multiple showcases.
ACHR News noted five new tracks will be added to the Winter Conference lineup, pertaining to energy efficiency, industrial facilities and large building applications.
"With the conference being held in the big city of Chicago, the Technical Program itself is going big with a focus on big products, the big picture and big impacts with the intent of presenting big results for engineers, contractors, manufacturers and building professionals," said Doug Cochrane, conference chair, according to ACHR News.
Registration for the conference is currently available for $450 for members and $660 for non-members.
Important trends
The focus of the event is to gather all of the accumulated knowledge of some of the industry's top experts to promote growth and efficiency for the future. A large plank in this year's platform is sustainability, with the purpose of improving green energy initiatives.
The HVAC industry has made major strides forward in recent years to increase the commercial sector's ability to properly manage HVAC units. A large problem among those in industrial settings is the degradation of HVAC systems – mainly from corrosion. When one minor problem occurs, further deterioration is likely because the unit as a whole is compromised.
Issues with HVAC coils can dramatically reduce a system's capacity to regulate temperature levels within a commercial building. To prevent these types of problems, manufacturers rely on coil coatings, which offer a layer of protection against the elements.
At Rahn Industries, several different offerings of coatings are available depending on the structure involved. Not only do coatings provide a full seal that resists further corrosion, but they also contain hydrophobic qualities that deter the collection of water, thus reducing the likelihood of rust or buildup.
Rahn Industries has a full lineup of spray and immersion (dip)/ Bake protective coatings to meet your needs. Stop by Booth #7441 during the conference to see how Rahn can help you.
